Competition Cheer


Competition Cheer (Ages 4+) Welcome to our Competitive Cheerleading Team. Our routines combine motions, jumps, stunts, tumbling, and dancing. We encourage leadership and set an example for the whole studio of good sportsmanship. We perform and compete in up to 5 competitions including an out of town overnight stay and 1 year end recital.

We compete in the Performance Rec Division and we consider students of all ages and levels of ability! If there are no 6 year olds on a mini team, ages 4-5 perform in a “Showcase” Division.

Practice Schedule:

June 1st-May 31st

  • Angels: Ages 4-6 Mon 5:00 – 6:00 pm
  • Phoenix Fire: Ages 7+ Mon and Thurs 6:00-8:30 pm
  • Power Tumbling is recommended on Wednesdays at 6:30 or 7:30 pm for an additional $40/month

*We practice during Holidays and Studio Breaks as well. Please allow sufficient notice if a planned absence.

**Summer vacations may be taken anytime in June, July and August. (September through May absences will require permission and will ONLY be excused if they do not fall within a “no absence allowed period” which include all major performances and competitions and the week leading up to a major performance and competition (Winter Show, Spring Recital and Competitions which take place between January-May).

Tuition and Team Fees:

Flat rate. Monthly fee covers Team Tuition and Team Fees. Fees are paid to vendors in advance and must be reimbursed using the monthly payment schedule. It covers competition entry fees, music fees, team gear and practicewear, coaching costs, costumes, end of year parties, team bonding events and more. We chose the rate below to adequately cover all associated costs. Team fees go into a pot and are not credited to any individual account. Any remaining balance will get rolled over to the new season. Fundraiser credits remain on your account until used. There is a 2.75% merchant processing fee for credit card payments.

  • Angels Team: $140/month (12 payments June-May).
    • $180/month (If joining in fall – 9 payments Sept-May)
  • Phoenix Team $250.00/month (12 payments June-May).
    • $290/month (If joining in fall – 9 payments Sept-May)
