What to Wear

**PLEASE BRING A LABELED WATER BOTTLE TO EVERY CLASS! 

WHAT TO WEAR TO CLASSES

Please Note: No jewelry, chewing gum, food, drinks other than water, or hard hair clips will be allowed during any class.

**No short cropped tops please (midriff’s etc. Sport bras are fine under a tanktop).

Ballet

  • Kids and Teens: Any color leotard with our without a skirt (tights optional).  Shorts, leggings or a tucked in shirt is fine too.  Pink or nude colored ballet shoes (black is fine for practice, but you will need nude or pink for performances) – you can get these at any dance supply store, but Target and Walmart brand are fine too. **If the ballet slippers have a bow, please tie the strings into a knot and then cut the strings off to prevent the distraction of always have to re-tie the bow!
  • Adults: wear what you are comfortable in, but avoid loose or baggy clothing. Socks, ballet slippers, yoga socks are all acceptable.
  • Please wear hair up out of the face in a pony tail or bun.

Acting, Singing (Musical Theater):

  • Come as you are!
  • Singers, depending on the choreography and your costume, we might have you get some ballet slippers or jazz shoes for recital in May – but we will let you know when it gets close.
  • SINGERS: Please get some tan jazz shoes similar to this!

Cheerleading Prep:

  • Shirt that can tuck in and athletic style shorts (no jeans or sweats).  Please wear hair up out of the face in a pony tail or bun. All white athletic shoes. No hard hair clips or jewelry.

Angels Cheerleading Competition Team:

  • We will get our practice gear very soon, but until then, any Shirt that can tuck in and athletic style shorts (no jeans or sweats).  Please wear hair up out of the face in a pony tail. All white athletic shoes. No hard hair clips or jewelry.

Jazz, Contemporary, and Pom:

  • Kids and Teens: Any color leotard with our without a skirt (tights optional).  Shorts, leggings or a tucked in shirt is fine too.  Tan Jazz Shoes – you can get these on Amazon – be sure to check the sizing guidelines as they all run differently.

  • Singing: Any

Dance Company Competition Team:

  • We will get our practice gear very soon, but until then, any color leotard with or without a skirt. Tights and tan jazz shoes. Fitness

Pointe: 

  • Any color leotard with tights.  Full sole Pointe ballet shoes must be worn (not a split sole) – try these on and buy them at a local dance store to ensure a good fit. We recommend Dorothy’s Dance Shop

Tap:
