Important Note to consider when enrolling: The studio celebrates federal holidays. We will decorate the lobby and classrooms for holidays including Halloween and Christmas and will use 🎄Christmas music in our Fall/Winter routines as well as play it inside the lobby.
Acting (Ages 8+) Theater Basics, ABasics, Acting, Skits, Improv, Stage Etiquette, Voice Projection and more – This is a fun class that builds confidence performing in front of a crowd.
Ballet (Ages 3+) Ballet is at the foundation of all dance. This beautiful and demanding technique is a necessity for all young, aspiring dancers. We encourage each dancer to take this class in addition to other disciplines we offer at the studio.
Cheerleading (Ages 4+) Fun Interactive cheerleading class. The class will teach foundations of cheerleading including angles, jumps and kicks and help children’s cognitive and motor skills, strengthen muscles and joints, improve aerobic capacity and impulse control, tune into movement themes and awareness, build vocabulary and literacy, increase interpersonal skills, instill class setting rules and etiquette and help develop strength and flexibility. We will use pom-pom’s, learn cheers, and dance.
Hip Hop (Ages 4+) This class encompasses many different urban dance styles to give students the opportunity to develop their own sense of style. Our Hip Hop classes teach rhythm, coordination, musicality and choreography without suggestive music or movements. Students are challenged to think on their feet while enjoying an energetic and fast-paced dance class. Our Hip Hop dancers develop focus, strength, and agility while having fun. This is an excellent class for high-energy kids who want to take a fast and fun dance class. **This is often a more challenging class to keep up and may feel a bit overwhelming for the first few weeks – but hang in there, we post videos to practice from home and this always ends up being a favorite class!
Jazz (Ages 4+) Students will focus on learning and refining proper dance technique such as isolation’s of the body, improving performance quality and developing rhythms and patterns to help develop a well rounded dancer.
Tiny Tots (Ages 24months – 36months) This class is for young learners and emphasizes creative movement. It will help assist with children’s cognitive and motor skill development, prepare muscles and joints for later activity, develop aerobic capacity and impulse control, introduce movement themes and awareness, building vocabulary and literacy, increase interpersonal skills, introduce and instill class setting rules and etiquette and help develop strength and flexibility. Parents are welcome to participate and help with learning.
Teen/Adult (Ages 13+) This is an All styles Open dance class just for Teens and Adults. Every class will include foundational ballet and we will encorporate different styles of dance every week! Hip hop, Jazz, Contemporary & so much more! This class does not perform in recitals, but we can add a performance at recital for anyone that would like to participate! It’s great for teens refining skills for dance team tryouts, or for moms and daughters to dance together, or just for a girls night out of fun and fitness! Join!!!
Performance Tumbling – we will be working on a floor routine with beginning tumbling skills to showcase at our performances and Recitals! Fun Interactive BEGINNING skills tumbling class. The class will help children’s cognitive and motor skills, strengthen muscles and joints, improve aerobic capacity and impulse control, tune into movement themes and awareness, build vocabulary and literacy, increase interpersonal skills, instill class setting rules and etiquette and help develop strength and flexibility.
POWER Tumbling – This class works on more advanced skills and DOES NOT PERFORM. The class will help children’s cognitive and motor skills, strengthen muscles and joints, improve aerobic capacity and impulse control, tune into movement themes and awareness, build vocabulary and literacy, increase interpersonal skills, instill class setting rules and etiquette and help develop strength and flexibility.

COMPETITION TEAM DESCRIPTIONS
*These classes are open by tryout only
Halos Dance Team Company is our Competitive Dance Team. We will combine multiple dance styles, refine and clean technique, encourage more difficult steps, leaps and jumps and form a team bond. We will encourage leadership and set an example for the whole studio of good sportsmanship. We will perform and compete in multiple events.
Angels & Phoenix Cheer is our Competitive Cheerleading Team. Our routines combine cheers, dancing, jumps, kicks and stunts (taking necessary safety precautions). Tumbling may also be incorporated for those that know how, but it is not taught in this class. We will encourage leadership and set an example for the whole studio of good sportsmanship. We will perform and compete in multiple events.
