All Clients demoted to alternate must continue to attend all practices and competitions, and will still perform at recital. Alternates will come to competition with all of their costumes and props ready to perform if needed.

6. EXPECTATIONS OF TEAM MEMBERS: Each member was placed on this team based on their individual skills. It is a requirement that members on this team take things such as stretching, strength training, conditioning and mastering technique into their own hands. With limited practice time, during competition season, routine cleaning can really take time away from our normal strength, conditioning, stretching and masstering technique. This means it is a responsibility of the member to find time at home to ensure they do not regress in ability. Members will occasionally be assigned to do specific exercises and stretches at home by the coach and are expected to be completed within a reasonable amount of time. These exercises and stretches are not considered a form of punishment by the coach, but excessive neglect of instruction could warrant punishment by demerit and/ or extra conditioning as stated in section If member regresses to a point in which they are no longer able to execute tricks already assigned to them or the group, they may be demoted to an alternate until they regain the necessary skills in order to meet the standard of the rest of the team. Additionally, dancers may have special roles and routines taken away from them in the event their skills continue to regress, or they show little effort in the recovery of any tricks or skills.

7. PARENT SUPPORT: Parents are expected to show support by participating in, showing up for and volunteering for all Activities as requested including, but not limited to: setting up, taking down, party planning, good luck bags and any other form of support and help needed. Parents are also expected to respect the decisions made by the coaches and refrain from interfering with coaching decisions or strategies. All parents and coaches are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. This includes refraining from using abusive language, derogatory remarks, or aggressive behavior towards each other.

8. TEAM COSTS: Client agrees to fulfill all financial obligations related to team by its due date. If a balance is left owing at the end of the season, Adrenaline Dance Studio will enlist a credit company to pursue collections. There are not refunds.

9. COACHING RIGHTS: Coaches have the executive authority to change any factor of the team’s routines, costume, hairstyle, makeup, schedule, and policies within reason, as long as it does not violate this contract. There is a “one and done” policy with disrespect from the parents and guardians on this team. If there is any direct and blatant disrespect or negligence of this contract to the studio or coaches any time after this contract is signed, your child is subject to being removed from the team for the entire season, without reimbursal and may only perform at the recital with the group. This includes but is not limited to:

In person meetings will include a follow up of detail discussed in writing and/or recorded for documentation. Coaches will only communicate between the hours of 8AM-8PM. Any messages sent outside of that time frame will not be responded to in a timely manner, and should not be frequently occurring. ALL team communication will be through the BAND app. Parents are encouraged to ask questions pertaining to the entire group in the chat room, or in the comments of a post. Parents are not authorized to post content into the main feed of the BAND, the main feed is strictly for communication coming from the coaches. All questions or concerns that do not pertain to the entire group or are personal may be asked in private chats through BAND only. All concerns must be addressed in writing!

11. SPECIALTY ROUTINES: Specialty routines, including solos, duets, and trios, may be asked to compete. Rehearsal times for these routines will be outside of their team class time. There are extra fees per these rehearsals for the instructor/choreographer’s time. Parents may also request private lessons in the interest of additional technical training.
Client on alternate status may still perform specialty routines if good behavior is
maintained, and they have not accrued any additional demerits since being demoted to
alternate.

12. NON- COMPETE CLAUSE: Students and parents may not live stream, photograph, or record any material in classes without the teacher’s permission. Dancers must understand they are in no way allowed to share or utilize any of the team costumes, props or choreography provided to them during the duration of their time on the team, without explicit written or typed permission from a coach. This includes sharing pictures, videos, or discussions of such on social media.

13. MERCHANDISE: Client is in no way authorized to create and/or distribute for sale or profit, nor give out for free, any type of merchandise or apparel with the words Adrenaline, Halos or Angels.
