BLACK OUT: Performances and their rehearsals are mandatory. Students CANNOT MISS any practice the week leading up to a performance. If it’s a school conflict with a grading mark, you must specify and if you are able, please come to practice following the school event. (late is better than missing).

MANDATORY PERFORMANCES CANNOT BE MISSED, for any reason! These consist of:

>The The Winter Showcase (Mid Dec)
>The 5 different Competitions (Jan-May)
>Spring Recital (May)
<Additional scheduled performances with sufficient notice

Vacations are permissible during Summer and NISD scheduled holidays only. Please schedule around team practice/performance time.

Performance Dates are posted far in advance. And cannot be excused regardless if there is a school conflict or not. Please make arrangements with your school teacher to work around it.

**Every member is valuable and missing even one student can set the whole team back – stunts, lifts and tricks are affected, formations are affected, learning new parts is affected – so when there is ALWAYS someone missing each week, it is really detrimental – please do your best to avoid that circumstance!

The season goes through May 31st and ends with a Team Party – you must stay through to the end of the entire season.

**SICK is NOT automatically excused** Students must be presenting extreme symptons accompanied by a doctors note.

Absences submitted through this form are not automatically excused – we will follow the disciplinary protocol outliined in the contract if warranted.
